If you don't mind me answering for beez - since it has been months since that post has been made - I think you have to apply for registration and Neon has to approve of your account before anyone can post. Probably to avoid bot takeover.

This is gonna make me out to be a right ejit but as an IT novice, what are the 'bots', How did they cause User registration to be shut down and why, after 2 years or more does it still say that the newest member is "Saloonka?"
