I'm very much against hunting.

Everytime I see hunters walk past my house I feel like shooting them.
Or at least throwing a rock or something after them.

And why is that? When I go up north I onlly bring my coat and guns. I don't have any food. Should I look for berries in the middle of winter?

HUUUNTING (dances in creepy way when excited) I wish I could still hunt. For the wolf thing. Where I used to live the land was infested with wild dogs and hyenas and such animals. He used to kill many of them with nothing but a big stick. If I am ever near your area I got to come hunt with you. :amused:

Ahh. I sees. I don't know. Considering that I find them to be a threatened species or are they endangered I forget which, anyways saying which I don't think they should be killed unless they are diseased or threatening humans and all that. Eh it's interesting to hear though.

same with me

Hunting is morally superior to the meat industry. If everyone on earth was to hunt for their food, the world would be a better place. There would be less humans and more wild lands, humans would be a part of the world rather than an cancer.

Unfortunately that is impossible as humans have gone too far.
So, with the meat industry in existance, hunting is unnessessary killing.

In short, hunting good, humans bad, humans hunting really bad, hunting humans also bad.

Nicely put, It-Is-I.

Hunting isn't needed because of the meat industry, which I personally think is just as wasteful and cruel as hunting an animal when you don't need to.
Now, if everyone only hunted what they needed to eat and survive, not because it's "fun", it would be a different matter. But there is a huge meat source available, so why kill more animals when there is no need?

That's what I disagree with. I don't see the point in killing more innocent animals than is needed.

To me as long as you are not hurting the ecosystem balance you are fine. Besides when you hunt you definitely get healthier meat. I don't care what the meat industries say they definitely pump their livestock with hormones, and kill them off earlier and bigger than normal animals. So when you hunt your meat you get good meat. NOt rotten hormone filled slabs of who knows what.

Is true (yes, I say true) meat any different? We throw hormones (estrogen, more or less) into rivers, crap and garbage everywhere - now wholesome flesh isn't exactly so much more different than the crap that companies like Maple (listeriosis? Hm hm) throw into supermarkets.

I have eaten normal and pasterized milk and other stuff like that. The fresh is way better. In this country I do not know what they put in the plants and vegies, but in my old country the plant and meats are just so much better. In this country it is so bad that I hardly ever feel like eating.

And, when I hunt I don't buy meat from the store, so the demand is less, so they have to produce less.
