I read that book about a year ago and really enjoyed it! So sad though ;_; I've managed to get through the first two of the series but I haven't gotten around to the third one yet, do you know if it's any good?

I strongly recommend the Eragon books (The actual name of the series is the Inheritance Cycle, but Eragon is the first book.). However, many people don't like them because there's quite a few cliches and a few unbelievable characters. :/ But there's quite a few good characters in it! And the battle scenes are written pretty darn well! I find the writing style balanced and enjoyable. At least worth flipping through.
By the way, the movie is no way to judge the book. >:( My god, that movie sucked.

Also, Maximum Ride is pretty good. I haven't read much of it, but James Patterson is an excellent writer. It's kinda sci-fi.

If you haven't read A Series of Unfortunate Events yet, you should. It's not exactly fantasy, but... they're amazing. A little series of short books that is funny (especially when read aloud) with several dramatic plot twists. There's many, many, many enjoyable characters. :D

I really liked these books! The only bad thing is while we in the US are on book 5-ish, in Australia they are up to book 13.

Well you are a heavy reader! If you have time you can read Stephan Kings huge books, but some could be scary and give you nightmares. The only one I read so far is Duma Key. Also it is a little profane.

Read all of those... I read a lot. Thanks for the suggestion anyhow!
