I always hash my mp3! Radio, it helps with finding new songs.

that is true but its like when i'm listening to the radio on my mp3 the art class i'm in turn on an actual radio and so i have to turn on some of the songs i got on there or turn off my mp3 player.

Lately I've been listening to a lot of audiobooks and podcasts when arting. It keeps my mind more occupied then music does, whereas with music I tend to drift off and start day dreaming, leading to me not getting particularly good or productive art done, haha.

kinda the same here, except i listen to music i put on my MP3 Player thinking how and what my book should have in it and try to come up with new characters. truthfully i'm a 70's and 80's fan.

I love my MP3. I used to listen to very calm songs, or songs with a little beat when i drew, but now days i find that i need a little more of a push when i'm drawing, so i listen to hard rock and some metal, but usually only some Godsmack and Disturbed. I do like to listen to Hip Hop when i draw Chibi's though, and i have no idea why, lol

i pleased my mom this Christmas. she had me look for the one how wrote the song called wind of change and i found it and downloaded it for her for Christams. i did the same thing for her freind and she too was pleased. whenever my mom listens to wind of change, it reminds her of the berlin wall and how it came down. she was there when it came down as well and i think they played the song while it was crumbling down.

I listen to Pandora Radio online when I draw most of the time...usually techno, lol. For some reason, the energy in the music helps to keep me focused on the drawing.
