I really don't think this belongs here since I'm coming back rather than a new comer. Then again there is a new crowd here so I believe introductions are in order.
I am Dragon-lass77 (DL for short) and I was here long ago, when NDA had a RP section to the forum...that's a while ago. XD
I still draw but I think I'm more into writing now, just keep an eye out for me ghosting around the forum.

Hey guys! I'm Dratino, but most of you old folk (and I mean old, back when there were still puppets on this site and there were RP's and there were custom-made puppets that nobody could touch and OHHH THE NOSTALGIA) would remember me as [name withheld for certain historic reasons].

I decided to come back here after about 4 or 5 years of sojourning on the Internet. In the meantime, I've had on-and-off obsessions with Mega Man, Pokémon, mathematics, and a whole lot of random Internet browsing. There was even a bit of DDR in the middle.

Just like Dragon-lass77 above, actually - I think we were acquaintances!

I'm here!

So it's been a VERY long time since I've used NDA boards. It's changed so much! I miss the little puppet avatars and the regular discussion forums but I accept the new changes as well!
If any of you used NDA back about 7 years ago then you might remember me as Raven!

WHERE ARE ALL YOU PEOPLE COMING FROM!?

Not that I'm complaining at all! These boards aren't super busy (and I don't contribute much myself D8) so new (er... returning...) people are AWESOME.

So welcome back DL, Dratino and Wittyhobo! I used to come here ages ago too, but I don't think I know any of you.

Anywho; I welcome back Wittyhobo and Dratino, at least I'm not the only old timer that remembers the puppets. Oh the cute little puppets...what ever happened to the cute little things anyway?

The sudden bump in people might have something to do with the fact that I registered one month's worth of e-mail requests two days ago, XD

Blarg. Site redesign is in progress. Having a friend help me with some tweaks to things. Hoping to get a modification installed on these boards one of these days so that bots can't register and people can... on their own. It's probably something of a bummer to have to wait a week to a month for your forum quest to finally get put through. ._.

Yeah, that's just you. *peeps into floorboards just in case*

There's a mod (modification, not moderator ) where the person has to answer a randomly selected question out of a pool of them.


7 years ago? Nope, even my memory doesn't go that far back. The username "Raven" seems to ring a bell, though. Were you a moderator here at any point in time?

Also, do you remember that scandal (perhaps not a scandal, I should say an "incident") where one of the moderators asked to be permabanned because she couldn't take it anymore? That was what was caused NeonDragon to remove all the RP's and stuff IIRC, and go "back to the basics". That would also have been about the time that I left.

I remember all of that Dratino. :P I was there also and under the same name as I have now. I did take a break from NDA for a short time after that but eventually found myself coming back. Since then I have 'left' and come back multiple times but have never really actually left. I was never really any more chatty than I am now so I would doubt if many people remember me from back then.

I did request someone to do a puppet for me back then too, but I don't remember getting much use out of it before Neon re-did the forum. It was a neon green fox if I recall correctly.
