haha d'aww! <333
oooh, I have a faaavorite <3 Oliver. Her story is epic:

When I was working at a movie rental store a few years ago--in a very cold, snowy week of november, she ran into my store with two kids. And she yowled and yowled--and I thought from her voice--that she was full grown. And I remember being incredibly annoyed thinking, "who brings their cat into a movie store?"
Anyways--The kids came up to the counter and told me that my cat came into the store. And I was like, "/my/ cat?" So--I went over to see where it was--and found her huddled there against a corner.
She smelled like she was rotting--covered in muck. She was so, so skinny--I've never seen a critter as skinny as she was. And her tail was snapped in half. When she would raise it, the top half just dangled as if the only thing keeping it together was some flesh.
So I took her into the back room--and gave her a warm bath in the sink. I wrapped her up in my wool jacket (that jacket reeked so bad of rotting cat after, I had to throw it out). I sent my co-worker to run next door and get her some food. She was very happy about it.
I took her home, and everyone else at the house helped me to keep this kitten alive over the night. After one more, thorough bath, I went to sleep--and allowed her to huddle beside me. I didn't get much sleep that night--I was too worried about the poor little kitten. I didn't want to sleep, and then wake up beside a dead cat.
She lasted the night--and by morning, she was already looking much better!
We took her to the vet, and she was so skinny and so malnourished--that they couldn't properly tell us what her gender was. (They told me she was a boy--hence the name, Oliver.)
2000$ in vet bills later, she was mine to keep. The following month was spent feeding her antibiotics, and the most nutritional kitten food we could get our hands on.
Now, three years later, She's much healthier, spoiled, and happier than ever: Half her tail did eventually fall off as the tissue died (which was kinda gross coming home to see half of her disembodied tail on the couch 8U; ) So now it looks a little...stubby compared to the tails of out other cats XD;
oh yeah--and she LOVES lazer pointers.
