Bye, then... I'm 12-almost-13, and I even hate the stupid smilie and chatspeak-addicted stuff... It really annoys me to no end.... (and what's worse is that one of my friends does it CONSTANTLY... ungh....)

Goodbye to all who are leaving, and thank you for the time you spent here. It's always nice to see new things from you guys here and on DA. Don't be a stranger!

I can understand where you're coming from with the younger users versus older users issue. Its difficult to cater to a broad age range and have everyone get along. I would like to see less lolspeak and emotes, and more thoughtful critiques, but it's difficult to control what people do or type. I suppose the best way is to lead by example, which I've been doing a pretty horrible job at, as I do not post nearly frequently enough.

Well, unfortunately I think it's time for me to hit the old dirt trail as well. NDA is a great place for beginner artists to mingle with people of similar mind sets and experience levels. However I think I've reached the point where I'm far too serious about art to really be useful in a community of hobbyists, so I feel I too must travel towards a place with users of a mind set more similar to my own.

I wish you all the best of luck in your artistic endeavors, always follow your dreams and never give up!

It was said the first day I checked my NDA in months and all of a sudden all of these people were leaving, it made me all sad. The community I know was changed because of them all. It makes me reminisce about certain things this site has done for me. I'll miss all of you who are leaving, but I still have contact to you through DA, so 'sall good!

I miss when I would log on, and there would be like 20 other people also logged on. Haha, those were the days. (:
