NDA Art Critique Message Boards

It was hard to word the question adequately in the space provided for the thread subject... o_O

But yes! When looking at peoples' artwork here, sometimes the artwork linked to in a thread is on a deviantART page or something like that, and I often wonder when thinking of commenting if I should comment on the thread they created (thus generating more activity here) or if I should comment on the deviation page on deviantART since I have an account there and everything. It mostly doesn't matter to me, though I also sort of like 'collecting' the comments I've received on artwork in an easy-to-access location just in case I want to go back and read the feedback I got and don't want to search through pages of forum threads to find it.

Though, I suppose it's also somewhat easier posting things like redlines here than in a comment on deviantART...!

I'd prefer them here for two reasons.

1) I know the thread is being looked at.

2) It keeps the thread towards the top where it can contnue to be viewed by more people.


Though I still would rather have comments in both. (:

It really doesn't matter either way with me. Basically as long as I get a thoughtful and intellegent response to the work, then I am quite content and happy. Red lines are always fun, but only work well on a forum. Who wants to upload redlines to a dA anyway?
