Hmm...does anyone know a good villain book? I've read a couple (Soon I will be Invincible, Villain.Net, Black and White) but I can't find anymore that aren't comics. I find them refreshing to read, a change from the stupid monotone reluctant hero/protagonist books that are now flooding the market.
There is a rather interesting power-corrupted "super-hero" I've just read about (and he actually still
is a hero) who is an interesting and engaging character (finally!) It did change my view on them (the book markets are so full of stupid reluctant protagonists (that are all the same) that I've forgotten what a real power-hungry "hero" is).
So, a quick question - how would you define hero (not as in "my mother", but an actual definition)? Someone who will do the right thing no matter what (as in, sacrificing a city to save the entire planet, or not stopping until the 'villain' is gone from the face of the earth), or someone who does the most humane thing possible in a situation? These two often get mixed up :/
Of course, I would still love to be the villain
