I'm fairly new here but I hope the site survives because I think smaller communites like NDA is better for getting critique on unlike on DA where it's hard to get noticed among the millions of pictures and many great artists doesn't get the attention they should. As Bat-Cat said it's summer now so hopefully more members will have more time for NDA.

It is unfortunate that the site is slowing down, but it is just dormant rather than extinct. People still come here, people still post. That's better than nothing I guess.

(Oh, and I have decided to come back. ^^)

I think that as well as promoting the writing forum, we should promote the site itself, via deviantart and other websites - if we make ourselves sound like a big name, then we will become one! I also think that we should have a monthly collaboration piece/ group of pieces that all members have a part in - This would really draw in members :)

I think the monthly collaboration piece sounds like a good idea:) Not only fun but it'll provide good training too.

I come and go. Nothing much I can't type advice someone already did. and because some of the topics, I just can't reply for some weird reason.

Still a lot of the things like jwindjackal said are already spoken for.
EDIT: I know I have been doing the same old song and dance for the past 3 years. So I would like to say, I'm sorry.

Well, I'm almost always on. At least once a day. The poem thing you came up with I think might get a few more people on, but other than that I'm not sure what we could do...

Hmm, I think I have an idea. What if we can have a drawing challenge where users can draw their interpretations of another user's drawing? For Example, the first user posts a drawing of a floating head and the next user post a drawing of his/her interpretation of the previous user's drawing, a floating head a room full of monkey-spacemen in space. Or a drawing challenge where users can work together to create a forum based comic.

The poetry challenge sounds very good; it might help those with writer's block.

I haven't logged on in weeks. I think a lot of it is to do with a lot of people are posting art but aren't getting any crits. Hence why we've lost a lot of our really talented members. It's hard to improve without crits, and so people are going off to find forums where they will get the feedback they need and want. That's personally how I am feeling at the moment- the forum seems to be only geared to a certain group of people, and it's difficult to gain anything from it.
