as discussed in the lower portion of this post on the oekaki, i would like some more opinions on whether i should allow people on the oekaki to award/draw the prizes for discontinued/neglected contests. ie: After an unawarded contest gets knocked off the contest boards, the contest holders are banned from creating further contests, and the contest is wiped off the list. That usually leaves a bunch of unawarded prizes hanging around, and i'd like to give people the option of receiving their prizes.
I have, however, heard some good arguments to the contrary, and would like to know how everyone feels about it. So i've opened up this poll, and hope you guys can convince me one way or the other. :)

It's solely the responsibility of the contest holder to award prizes. No one but the winner, holder and possibly the moderators should be involved in this business. It's nice that people want to help out, but the fact is the winner might not even want a picture from the person volunteering their services and winner can't just go and say that to whoever is going out and being nice to solve the problem because it could hurt their feelings either. :-[

I think yeah, they should. Only as long as the person who's offering to award the prizes is at an art level that will satisfy the winner and also give effort in the prize.

But the thing is the people with the best intentions might not satisfy people and there's just no nice way to say "You don't draw well enough, don't do my prize... I'd rather wait for the person that won't ever do it."
