Basically, I am a fan of the oekakis and can draw decent and stuff, the reason why I posted up here though is because I'm looking for a mouse, yes a mouse, on oekaki tutorial. Does anyone here know? Basically, my computer class has been very slow and I haven't nothing much to do in my spare time, so I just wander around these art forums and such, I am trying to do something. xD I happen to try out the oekaki here, but I wasn't satisfied with the school's mouse. It left some horrible image not meant to be seen if you know what I mean. D:

Any mouse artists out there? Help me please. D:

I'm not what could be called a 'mouse artist' but I use an optical mouse and it has really smooth movement (as long as its on a smooth surface...). I've doodled with it on a couple ocassions (on Windows Paint :-/) and was easily able to swirl it around without those 90 degree turns and stuff.

Dunno if that'll help though. Mine ran pretty cheap at about 15 american dollars.

The school probably has the same mouses xD

I could try making my own tutorials for people who don't own a tablet, but I can't really work on it alone, I mean, I need to know the other people's style and such. xD If anyone happens to come across a mouse artist, would you mind linking them here so I can get started with the tutorials? It be much appreciated and very helpful :-)

I usually draw with just my mouse.
Here's my latest oekaki: http://neondragonart.com/oekaki/picture ... rd=default

Just make sure you have an optical mouse. The kind with the rolling ball on the bottom are very difficult to work with, because they interpret everything as horizontal and vertical steps.
I'm not quite sure what sort of a tutorial you are looking for, though.
Many drawing techniques and methods are applicable to either a mouse or a tablet.

Here's the animation, to show how it was drawn. http://neondragonart.com/oekaki/picture ... rd=default
It's accurate, until around halfway through, where it starts stuttering for some reason.
Also, it doesn't show any of the changes in opacity I applied to any of the layers. Those blotchy color layers were mostly transparent. :)

Whhaaaa D: This is great :D Have you ever made a tutorial before? I could probably do all the writing and stuff if you decide to help and all. Well, if you really want xD I can just make stuff from what you have already, so thanks for the links!

I'll try and do some of my artwork soon in the oekaki, however, it's still just lacks alittle life when I draw these things. But my style is just abit off than other people's so not many will understand my stuff. We needs just a few more of these mouse artists so I can write down all the different steps other people do. So Chromamancer, You are done :D

Here's a vector trace tutorial I made on DA.

It was rather fun to make.
I'm still not quite sure why it has to be a mouse art tutorial, though. ;)

Because, some people(like me xD) are done with everything and have nothing to do with pretty much everything(not this site luckily xD) blocked at school with no tablets allowed xD So, I'm making tutorials for people without tablets, and those at school xD

Thanks for the link by the way :D
