Ok before I post I have a question. I didn't see it in the rules so do we post all our art in one thread per person or can we have more than one post? Either way is fine with me just let me know.

No critic please. These are finished and some are a little older. I have since improved but am still quite proud of these. I'm trying to change my technique now that I have my first tablet ever. All these were made with a mouse.

The Four Bad Boys

Meet the Four Bad Boys. Starting on the left is Davon Ember Flare. He's the big chief of Flare Enterprise a multinational corporation. Next to him with the gold eyes is Solan Rah his Vice President and right hand man. Third is Jerone Thanatos head of Thanatos Industries. And Lastly is Dr. Owen Marsh. This is a party for both companies. Everyone is trying to get the better of everyone else. Thanatos it talking deals with Davon who isn't paying attention. He's got his eye on Owen. You guys are probably wondering about Owen's hair. Short version is he had a lab accident with an unknown sample and ended up that way. What he didn't know was that the sample Thanatos gave him was a piece of molten flesh from the demon Thagirion who happens to be Davon in human form. Solan is also not what he seems. He's the sun god and servant of Thagirion. He IS listening to Thanatos closely making sure he doesn't screw his master over. He's the only one not having fun, all business and even brought his briefcase to the party. Owen is a cocky jerk and over dressed because he wanted to look better than everyone else. But Davon wants his fire back.



Owen is actually out of character here. This is a scene from the same party. Owen became very bitter after he got his fire. He hates it and thinks it's ruined his life. If he could get rid of it he would but he can't. So this is unusual to see him dancing, smiling and having a good time. It cracks me up he brought that hat since he clearly can't wear it.



Lastly we have my only good guy Prof. Jonathan Cope. He's getting bit by a budgie. He did nothing wrong. He was probably just going to feed her and she just decided to latch on just because she could. Budgie bites hurt, but I think Cope's feelings were hurt more than his finger.

It's really cool to see that you try to show their character by their pose.
The glass effect on the shelter is also awesome.
What I also like is that you use colored outlines. They fit perfectly to the rest of the image.

I'm glad you liked them. The glass was fun to do, not always easy though. I've only been coloring lines since last year I think when I finally learned how. It takes a bit of time but I don't think I could stand leaving the lines black ever again. It does make a big difference.

Welcome to Flare Enterprise

This is Davon's office and Solan is standing faithfully at his side. I imagine this being from the point of view of a new employee being interviewed. It must be pretty scary getting interogated by those two, even if they are clam the whole time.

Owen Yells at Cope

I really like this drawing. I have a solid story line going on with my guys but also several alternate stories which can make things confusing. This is one of them. Prof. Cope and Owen Marsh are life long rivals but Cope never got to see Owen after he got his fire. But I couldn't help myself to make this scene. Both of them work for Thanatos Industires and I'd like to think they were forced to work together under one of Owen's projects. Owen's a very angry guy, but can usually control his temper. But when Cope is around he just loses it. I doubt Cope did anything wrong but any excuse to yell at him is good enough for Owen.

Owen Lost in the Snow

And one more. Poor Owen. On his way home from work one night he was stopped by Davon. Davon was ready to fight him to take his fire but was interupted by Solan. Something very serious had come up that he had to tend to right away. More serious than the Owen issue. Owen would have to wait. But while he waited Davon transported him to the frozen waste of Northern Canada in winter. Owen is completely unprepared. He's not wearing a heavy enough coat, it's bitingly cold, it's storming and he fears his fight might go out. If that happens he dies.

Looks good! I like the way you do the fire, and your expressions are all really good. :3

Though please remember that if your images are above 800 pixels in width, they must be posted as a link to avoid stretching the forums. Though you can use Photoshop or even Gimp to resize them if you prefer to just post the image in the forum. :D

Thank you. I LOVE fire and it is fun to draw. And to me the most imortant thing is the facial expression. You say so much with them.

Oh ok I didn't know that. Please just let me know if I make a mistake again and I shall edit my own post. I know how to resize and these are meant to be seen at full size. But now I know the limit so no worries there. The good thing about these new forums is that only the post with the image gets streached and not the ones before or after it. Back in the old days of ezboard that was always so annoying. I view everything at 800x600 so everything looks streached on boards for me with big images anyway.

EDIT: I did some searching and found how to make an image both and link and resize in bb code. The code is as follow but without the spaces of course.

But it doesn't work here. I think phpBB sites need to have special codes like this added by the admin. Would be a nice feature for NeonDragon to look into. I'd love to have thumbnail links that people can click on to my full size art.
