I know the GIMPs .xcf files are NOT allowed...but other than that I don't know

I'm new here with the account and all, and don't have any other accounts like DA or anything. So when I went to post a topic and tried to upload it from the computer but it said that the image was to big!

I'm not sure if I'm allowed to get account on DA or any other sites (I'll ask mom but I'm not sure if she will let me)... So is there a way to make the images smaller or something? I have lots of pics to post too and all are in the same basic catagory...

Chances are no, I'd recommend getting a photobucket, because photobucket doesn't involve social networking or whatever it is your parents don't want. All photobucket is is a place to store your pics. Its convenient, and seems as if it would suit your situation best.

On the contrary Jwindjackall - If you in photoshop, then "Image", "Image size", change the drop down menu to "bicubic sharper" and then reduce the size as necessary - if in MS paint, then simply drag from the edges

I didn't mean it that it couldn't be done, I just think using photobucket is probably the best route, because you can then post larger images.
