This is where I'll be placing all of my MapleStory stuff and anything that is finished but not very refined. (And sometimes the two overlap!) Besides, Atomi's Ridiculous Thread is getting ridiculous, indeed! I'll still put things up there but not as often.

Let's begin with a lot of recent stuff, starting with original work -

Andrano Hijinks is the single largest sketch dump I have ever done. As such, I will refrain from posting the image here! It's a big entertaining sketch dump full of oddball fantasy characters from a project currently called Andrano.

This is my own entry for Azdion Galaxy's custom hat contest:

Too bad I can't win (since I'm a judge), because I think it's a really cute design!

This work on dA was done for a very special friend's birthday! Her character, Audrea, at center with KrazyHero's (another friend's) character Acosta on the left and my character Ramos on the right. I think they're hitting on her.



Now for the MapleStory stuff. I've recently been in touch a lot with a friend who also plays MapleStory, and between the two of us it's cracky headcanon central over here. As such, I've been drawing a lot of MapleStuff.


Doodled this pic of Dark Lord a month or two ago when I was sick. :U Well, I had to get some kind of art done! It was slightly rushed but turned out well. After this I promised people I would draw him with his mask on.


Since then, this has been the first serious picture of Dark Lord that I finished up maybe a week ago or something. He has his mask on, you see. I wanted to draw a dark picture with eye-glow, so this is that.

You know, this one is pretty big. Better just link to it instead.
Did this last month, I think. Aran, the Ancient Hero, and his sentient polearm, Maha. Yes, that glowing kid is the spirit of that gigantic polearm. I haven't been through the questline much, but so far I get the impression that Maha is kind of a diva. I can imagine if he ever traveled around with Aran, he'd be constantly lecturing him and telling him how he's messing up.


This is Ryden. He plays a prominent role early on in the Dual Blade questline, and he's as sleazy as they come.


A dump I did of four out of five of the Explorer job instructors. Kyrin (the pirate instructor), Dark Lord (the thief instructor), Athena Pierce (bowman), and Dances with Balrog (warrior). I forgot Grendel, the mage instructor. WHOOPS I always forget him, huh.


A look at Onyx Dragons. I was looking at the differences between baby and adult Mir (the Onyx companion of Evan, the Dragon Master) and decided that it was a good idea to doodle out some dragons. So cute.


And this is Dark Lord being inexplicably retarded. Actually, it was a friend looking at that first picture up there and telling me that I need to draw Dark Lord with a wider range of expressions. This happened. We make jokes now that refer back to this expression practice.


Okay! That's all for now. I'll keep updating this in addition to my other thread, but that will be for original stuff and this will be for MapleStory stuff and rougher works.

Yes, this is the first time that awful expression practice has seen the light of day. I haven't even posted it yet on the Nexon forums! XD Poor Jin. I should stop making fun of him so much. But I won't.

Another quick Maplestory thing. My characters this time, specifically my crappy array of thieves! Insidioso of Demethos, Temerarium of Yellonde, and ElectricLynn of Kradia. Clearly I took licenses with them, but this is how I would portray them if I ever wrote fanfic with them (which I won't).
Lynne's in a wheelchair because the idea of a thief in a wheelchair is hilarious, given their mobility-oriented skill set and playing style. Also, I don't think the Jazz Bar is up to ADA standards.

You did good on drawing Tem! You should shade them! :D What lvl is Insidioso?

I don't think I'm gonna shade 'em, to be honest. :I This was meant to be sort of quick and just to get the design ideas down.
Sid's about level 60 now, I think! I haven't gotten the Ocher Scorpio or Bronze Identity (the top and hat equips) yet, but I think I know what monsters drop 'em so I should have them in no time. Tem's level 89, almost 90, and I think Lynne's 40 or so. Maybe a little over 40. I don't remember! But I think I left off at 60 on Sid.

Ok! Can't wait to see them shaded!

Ugh, I just said I wasn't thinking of shading them! I consider that one done enough, and it was just to get the designs down.

Here I'm just gonna attach a bunch of MapleStory files since I don't feel like uploading them.


This is basically just Kyrin beating up Dark Lord. My Maple friends and I make this stuff way too canon in our minds. Why? Because it's funny. And I mean, if he's gonna get beaten up by Shrooms in the actual game, this is bound to happen in a non-canon setting.


Also didn't happen in the game, but it should have. Evan dealing with Aran. In the actual game, an Aran character will attempt to defend against the Black Wings and he will find that the Black Wings are always one step ahead. We find out why in the Evan questline. Evan is trying to be a pure-hearted hero and do what he does best - which is help people. Little does he know that he's gotten in cahoots with the Black Wings and is helping them carry out their plans.

I imagine that when Aran finds this out, he's not at all happy with the young dragonmaster. Evan was only trying to help, but he realizes that he unwittingly sabotaged Aran at every turn.

I drew this for a friend who wanted me to draw rage!Aran. Bet I could have made him look angrier, though. I only colored their skin and hair and stuff, and not their clothes, because seriously, Aran's garish corset would have killed the mood. XD
