Yesterday I started drawing, I liked the picture so I felt like coloring it :)

This is the sketch:

Colored head:

The body (I really hate his "hands", the hair on his front leg and those 3 weird things on it :-/ )

The only thing I'm proud of is his head :/

It seems to me that most of the drawing seems anatomically correct, except the front leg, which seems like it isn't stable enough to even hold me up.

The head is indeed my favorite part of the dragon, merely because it seems like the part that you put the most effort into. What you need to do really is merely add some meat to the bottom half of that front leg. The portion attached to the body is actually quite meaty, but everything below the knee is lacking in muscle.

But overall it is a very good start.

As animals' tail are mostly used for balance, it appears to me that its tail is a tad bit small, considering the size of its front-end. try thickeningit a little bit so that, instead of the tail coming from the body more like a dogs, its more like a lizard's tail...uhh...I'm not sure if thats clear enough but I am unable to help describe further with redlines at the moment...:/

Anyways, looks good! I liike how you've colored it so far, adding muscle definition with it..

Very good Jasmine, you're improving fast :). Did my "Dance" picture inspire you for the wings there? :)

As for crits, I basically second what everyone else said. A heavy front calls for strong legs as well as a heavy rear (or tail) to balance it all out. Other than that, keep it up!

I'll make the frontlegs bigger on my next dragon, 'cause I can't fix this now, it's already colored :wutno:
I'll work on his tail :)

@Lhune: I took your "Dance" picture for his wings, I hope you don't mind :-< It's just... I'm really bad in drawing wings like that.

The only thing that hasn't been mentioned that I noticed was the dragon's lack of right limbs...I think. Maybe they're there but I can't quite see them(I'm using my phone to get online)..very good structure and coloring. [: I loves it so far.
