NDA Art Critique Message Boards

Soooooo This is my first attempt at photoshop (well sai painter but its almost a twin)

Anyone have some advice/ critique/ comments? I want to keep most of the pencil detail in because it is a scanned drawing i'm enhancing, but that doesn't mean I don't want to make it more realistic and see what this software can really do!

So I have fixed the clouds and done some lighting as well. I figured an update was in order.

Your cloud and skyscape do not seem to have nearly as much time put into them as the dragon itself. I might suggest looking up images of clouds on google when you paint. It can be nearly as much fun to do skyscape as your beasty. Since your cloud looked puffy I made some big fluffy ones in my redlines, but you could of course to wispy or swirly or whatever types of clouds you like. Just something that's a little bit less flat to break up the composition a bit might be nice.

Sounds like a pretty good idea with the clouds. I did this over a sketch so I suppose the detail on the dragon was already there (i do admit to taking a bit more time on it though LOL)
