A drawing my brother requested, he wanted a guy in monk robes wielding what he called a "gelade"...if anyone actually gets where he got that name from I'll give you a cookie.

For anyone curious the weapon is actually a kyoketsu Shoge.

Critiques are welcome, but anatomy wise I won't be changing anything, however I will gleefully apply any critique to new drawings XD

I despise drawing toes, they never turn out good :why:

and I'm also aware that the left hand is well...bad... :-/

In my opinion, the head is a bit to big compared with the body

Anyways...update! Now it has most of its flats

Edit: To avoid triple posting, I've now uploaded my even newer version...most of the shading for the man is done...all that's left is the details and the background YAY!

Is it from Elemental Gelade?

The colours look good, and I like the portal-mirror-whateveritis that the demon is hanging on. The detailing is very nice

Thanks...but I suppose I should probably mention, since I have yet to do so, that the the finished version of this is now drifting about in the finished art section...

The portal-mirror-thing is supposed to be a painting, and the demon is coming out of it...yeah...cheesy, I know.
