File comment: So I was bored one day and decided to to draw Spyro. The horns on top of his head got cut off because I take bad photos! Anyway here he is!

Yeah. Once I get good at drawing him I'll add my own style to him.

This is the first my first attempt at him. As you can see his eye is too far up, his cheek is too far back, and I had forgotten to add in the second horn on the other side. Don't be afraid to add negitive comments on him. Other than that enjoy! :)

OK so I guess no one liked the other Spyro drawing. That's alright, because I have another spectacular drawing.

Sorry It's not so clear. I tried to edit the lightness and contrast but it still turned out.....well you know what I mean. Here's another drawing for you non-horse lovers out there.

these r great! love 'em!
and everyone, in my opinion, all have their own style to beguin with as soon as they start drawing.
alls ya have to do is practice, practice, and some more too. patience, and lots of time. the more time the better it will be. references are great too.
bet you've already heard this, but i just wanted to make sure. keep it up. im expecting great art! :amused:

Thanks for the reply haven't heard from anyone in days!!!! And yes I have heard that many times before, and I only use a reference one time... or two it depends on if I get the hang of the concept. Iv'e used Jessica Peffer's 1st drawing book to start learning on how to draw dragons. Believe me! Before I even got that book my dragons looked like a swirly mass of potatoes! But know look where I'm at! By the way did NOT trace! It has always been my law NOT to trace to get better at art. Well enough typing I'll show you the very first and second dragon in her book that started it all!(sorry for the time on the sides)

You're off to a great start :) The picture you drew of the horse looks really spiffy and then the profile of the dragon is good but not quite on par with the horse. This may be an easy fix for you though, next time you draw a dragon try modeling the head after that of the horse, in my opinion dragon and horse heads are roughly similar in shape. Maybe if you draw the outline of a horses head but fill it with 'dragon features' it should help your dragons to look more realistic because you'll have a better idea of where their features should go.

I hope that made sense, if not I'll try to make it clearer. Or if someone else understands me mayhaps they can put it more eloquently.
