My apologizes that this is not full bodied, but initially I had no intention of making anything other than a bust. But, I just could not help myself but to continue with it ^^

Anyway, though I am happy with how this piece is progressing, my one major concern is the basic anatomy, as I always seem to have difficulty with it. This is not a complex piece, I know, but the concern still persists. Any critique, tips, or advice would be very much appreciated, and thank you in advance.

Very nice!! I really like the design you made. The only thing I think looks weird is that its back seems longer than the stomach line, meaning start the curve of the loin more early than it is now. I can't really explain in english what I mean^^' but take this horse picture for example, http://www.flyinge.se/Avelochreproduktion/Hingstar/Dalwhinnie.aspx My only other point is that the chest should be more rounded but that can also be a matter of taste. I hope you'll continue this drawing I would love to see it colored/shaded^^

Thank you very much for the suggestions and the reference picture, and I'll see about implementing those changes. However, if you feel inclined to do so, and would like to do a red-line for me, that would be quite useful. However, you've already done more than enough ^^ Thanks again, and hopefully I'll be able to finish this one up soon.

I know this isn't what you asked about, but the dragon's face is brilliant! It looks like a wise, caring grandparent or something. I'll look forward to seeing when you have the rest of it finished.

But it is still very much appreciated. Thank you ^^ I hope to finish this one soon, once I fix a few issues.

This is looking very good so far. It's nice and clean, and the dragon has a fantastic design..simple, but elegant.
(I'm rambling, sorry. I do that when I'm tired.)
Anyways, I just think that the neck may be a tad too long or thin...or maybe the chest is a little too big. Both of these are more so opinions than anything, though.
I love his(her?) expression. Curious and wise at the same time.

Firstly I agree with Cullen, your dragon's expression is wonderful^^ Secondly here's some redlines. http://i892.photobucket.com/albums/ac127/Elflady_88/RedLines/Random_Dragon___Body_by_Nurmek.jpg?t=1272324698
I'm no expert in anatomy and I've never done red lines before but I thought I could at least show what I meant better with redlines instead of an non understanable explanation. And I base much of my anatomy on dogs and horses as I've been surrounded by them all my life, so if you had something different in mind ignore me and I hope I didn't change your idea radically.^^'

Thank you so much for the red lines. They were a very big help, and your improvements look a bit more natural and realistic anatomically than my version. And how can I argue with someone with first-hand knowledge? ^^ I'll have to make thee revisions very soon once I get the chance. I really appreciate the advice!

Thank you very much Cullen for your thoughts, and I'm glad you liked the expression ^^ That was what I really wanted to shine. And I think ElfLady may have corrected the neck and such for me, so we'll see what I can do with it.
