I wanted to draw a dragon that looked very old, wise, and kindly. Down below is what I've got so far. I thought maybe he could use more wrinkles, but I wasn't sure where to put them.
I'm planning on trying to color him without black lines, but it's the first time I'll have done so; any pointers on how to do it would be well appreciated!
And of course, if you see anything wrong with his anatomy or if you have any other sugguestions on how to improve him, I'd love to hear them!

:) wow! what a GREAT idea!! i think this is a great picture, and i think u should color it!

ok, id like to crit one thing ( or two )

1. well, to me, it looks like the head is just glued on to a neck, not as if it were connected
2. i have done some more wrincles for you!

so, here it is:
and i did some things that would make him look more "oldish":
i made the neck more skinnish? ( more skin, and thinner )
i added more wrincles to the face
and i chipped off the end of the horns so it looks like he was in some feirce battles in his earlier age!

but this is how I would do it; it's a personal preference, i just gave you hints :) hope this made sence! lol! u dont have to do it ovcorse, and im sorry that im HORRABLE @ redlines and stuff. i dont have a tablet thing, or photoshop, so TADA! some weird looking stuff. but i truly love to help people, and i hope this helps u! :)

I think his shoulders should be wider. They seem very small, which looks feminine or child-like.

I'm not a fan of the neck, so I agree with weasl's red lines. I think it would help if you gave it more loose skin though. Like a turkey. You could then add wrinkles or folds to the skin there as well.

His horns don't seem to match, the one on his left seems much longer than the other, and curves more at the end.

Ah... you're right about the horns. I'll fix that. And you've given me more to think about. (Too bad school's started! :-m There goes by free time. Oh well; I'll try and set aside some time each week just for drawing!)

PS: Welcome to NDA! :amused:

I feel like his neck is way too thin to hold up his big ol head, but it's prolly just me. :)
