Hi everybody! I haven't posted here in a while, but I guess it's time now!

Okay, right now I'm working on several requests on http://www.deviantART.com, so i might post my progress on those too.
But for now, I wanted to post my progress on another matter.

If any of you know Spellfiretidecaller on devart, she very kindly drew me a dragon character, (found here)>> http://weaslrocks.deviantart.com/#/d2t504s and she named it after me.

So here are my traditional, WIP pictures of her. They will be finished digitaly (my first real digital pictres), and put into a reference sheet. YAY my first reference sheet! If anyone would like to share digital coloring/linearting tips, that would great! Feel compleatly welcome to comment on anything, and its ok to harshly criteique my art, its fine with me. Thats how we get better, no?

First there's a picture of her...that I made at the river with NO reference (NOOOOOO), so it may need criteique.
This second picture is >> a bust shot of my character
Thanks in advance!

Welcome back! :D I can see you've improved a lot while you were gone.
I can only think of one tiny crit; in the first image, the neck and head area seem a tad too large for the body, but it could just be my sleep-deprived brain thinking that. I /love/ the second image! :amused:
I'm absolutely horrid at lineart, so any tip I provided wouldn't help. :-m
I can't wait to see these finished!! :eager:

First of all, I really love these!

Are you shure you didn't use a reference on the first one? Because I know a drawing from Lhune that looks very alike...

I think the neck of the second one is a little bit to thick, but otherwise... keep it up!

@Cullen: Thanks!

@Jasmine: OK THIS IS CREEPY. IT LOOKS THE SAME!!
I'm truthfully saying that I did NOT use that picture (I respect the Copyright Law) This is actually a remake of a picture I did a few months back, and now I'm making it into my OC. And like I said, I was at the river when I drew this, so no, I couldn't have used that eather way (and I wouldn't) Haha this is creepy XD I hope you beleive me! I've never run into this situation before XD

If you think I should remake this picture/ delete it (for the best), let me know everyone!

SORRY LHUNE IF THIS PICTURE RESEMBLES YOURS!!!

Okay, I decided that I'm going to re-do that picture, so that we don't get any trouble.

----------

Anyways, here is my progress with a request from Silver-Drake, of her wolf, Quick-Silver: http://silver-drake.deviantart.com/gallery/#/d2nkm7t

I haven't drawn any realistic-looking wolves in a long time, so that's why it looks a little funny XD
I did notice that the forehead looks a little high, and that the dody is..kind of crooked X3 And that the fur is weird. I'm going to fix it, but if you see any other problems let me know. (once I shade a little, it'll look better too) yay for me.. I used a reference! (off of google, ofcourse!)

C&C is very much appreciated and welcome. (I dont mind harsh critiques)

Ok, I've changed it up a little. I'm satisfied with it, and now I'll start linearting. the eyes are a bit creepy because they aren't colored yet ^^ (and because they're smeared :-O )

This is a non-shaded (I forgot) traditionally colored request w/ no bg, just wanted to make sure i add that :)
If anyone knows of any good Prismacolor (colored pencil) tutorials let me know. I've seen a few good ones, though there could be a few out there that I'm not aware of.
Time to lineart!

Okay, It's done! I kind of had some....uhh...difficulty with the eyes XD I guess I need more practice XD Dragons are somehow easier ;D

I'm not actually satisfied with the coloring...maybe because I didn't shade/blend it enough. Well, I do have to admit I rushed through the coloring......I'm sure thats why. Also, just to make it easier on myself, I'm going to do SHADED requests XD

THE EYES ARE CREEPY :why:

Anyways, I'm off to the river again. It's so inspiring and calm over there. A perfect place to draw :). Water is just like that.

C&C, even though its completed, is always welcome and appreciated!
