Wow, I let this thread die, huh?
I haven't had internet in over a month so haven't been able to bore you all to death with all my new WIP's :P Honestly, I need to draw something that I'm happy enough with so that I finish it :s

Anyways..... I has one update and and four new images >.<

First up:



Update of Morrend (the last WIP is posted in my very first post). I hate that couch >.< I really don't know what to do with it.



Undead dragon face thing. A revamp of this *cringes* It's 3 years old now >.< This was originally going to be grey scale pencil work, but the page got ruined by jam, so now I'm attempting to do it digitally. Sorry for the awful quality at the moment, I'm painting on top of a photo of it.



Revamp of another older character, Nurzhank, a raven anthro type thingeh. The original drawing of him makes me lol. I'm kinda happy with this so far, but I'm not sure if he's in proportion or not. Also, attempting another bg XD



Just a random dragon I felt like designing. Yay for the most unoriginal poses XD



And finally, something for uni. These are just rough ideas for female armour designs for my species, the Vererdi. I obviously haven't finished one XD Also, they're all done in different styles because it's part of a requirment.

I hope the images aren't too big- they're all 800px wide or less :S They look pretty big o.O

You definitely have a grasp on character creation, as they're all pretty eye-catchy and believable, as well as original .

The last humanoid character looks a bit short/stubby, almost like a child. This could be intentional though, in which case it's awesome x3. Actually it's awesome either way.

Thank you Lhune <3 The last humanoids are supposed to be approx 8ft tall or somethings. May shorten them down a tad though (I don't generally like making over sized characters :3). I was trying to make them seem powerful, especially in their legs- they are crazy jumpers and climbers, not built for speed :3 I kinda like that they come across as child like :D They're a very gentle people and don't understand violence, so it fits them well ^^

Well, I've lost everything that I had been working on. My external hard drive decided that it really didn't want to work. The data is still on it, but I can't access any of it. Still trying to recover everything.

So anyway, I thought it was time to try something different than usual. This is a rough sketch of a character that I was given for Lhunes Xchange over on DA.

And this would be my awful attempt. I'm very clearly out of my depth here. I tried to make it look like she's playing (you know how dogs wiggle their bums in their air when they play?), but it really doesn't come across like that. Also, what the hell is that? A wing? Supposedly. Also have no idea at all as to what position the other one should be in. I was gonna have her playing in the snow, but then thought that it would make the whole image very dull, as snow is white, as is the dragon, etc. Very confused so far about this piece. I may end up re-starting it if I can't go any further on this. Please feel free to rip this apart- I really do need help with it.

On a happier note, another design for my uni project. He is an Earth elemental, something that you would be able to summon in a game XD



He is fluffeh and I would like to give his leg a cuddle XD

I've started work on colouring the big elemental design, and I'm also working on refining that dragon sketch. Hopefully I'll have something that makes a bit more sense by the end of tongiht...hopefully.
