Loving the new works Flute. Especially the one with the female species next to the water and the blue dragon. Keep it up.

These are all quite awesome! You've got a good grasp of anatomy as well as color and texture.

Though if I may make a nitpick, I'd say you'd be a lot more effective if you worked the whole piece in stages, rather than single parts at a time.

For instance, on the gryphon dragon lizard thingy, you've got the whole head rendered to completion, while the rest is still a sketch. Generally it's considered good practice to at least have the whole piece worked out roughly before you start going in to detail of any sort; if you were to finish painting the gryphon and then think a nighttime scene would be awesome, your choices are either to have an awkwardly bright and saturated gryphon, to not do a nighttime scene, or to try and compensate with adjustment layers that would not look as good as if you had painted it with a nighttime scene in mind.

What I'd suggest is get all your colors down first, however messily, so you have a solid idea of where you're going with the piece before you get into detailed rendering. Plus it's a lot more satisfying to do it that way in my opinion; getting a glorious head done and then looking at the rest of it not even started is kind of demotivational, at least for me.

But overall these are still quite good. Keep it up! :D

Thank you everybody ^^ <3 <3 <3

Antiman90: Thanks ^^ The female is kind of a dragon woman thing ^^ Hoping to have her done pretty soon :3

Chickys_gone_wild: Thankies <3 And yeah of course, I'm not the best to ask, but I'd be more than happy to give some help- I'll pm you some ideas if you'd like?

Lhune: Thankies :D It's always lovely to hear comments, especially from you ^^'

Andantonius: Thank you for the fantastic crit as always :D
Tis my fault for not showing the whole image ^^' but I wanted it to be more of a sneak preview for the person I'm doing it for. I totally know what you mean about working on one little area, and usually I don't do it that way, but the colours on this critter are so vibrant and a little whoa that I was basically trying to feel around first what the best way to colour her would be. --> She is vibrant XD But yeah, I've realised that doing it this way really has demotivated me to do the rest of the piece D: I'll keep it in mind for future pieces :P
I'd love to do a night time scene, but would have absoloutly no idea as to how to achieve that :S Any tips? :P

Thank you so much once again everyones <3 <3 <3

I has some new stuffs to throw in, and a request for help on one too :)

Firstly: This is for MadCat, who one first place in WanDragonica's contest.

Image

What I'd really, really love help on are his wings, especially the left. At the moment, it really doesn't look like they're coming out of his body properly, and I think that they might be too high? Any crits, suggestions, red lines, etc. would be greatly appreciated :3

Secondly:

Image

A portrait of one of my characters for uni work. Her right eye (on our left), is bothering me a little, and I would like to get it sorted before I move on to do her goggles and hair. Again, crits, redlines, would be grand :P Oooh, also, any ideas as to how to make her look a little older and more worn?

And finally:

Image

A family portrait of sorts XD All my characters/fursonas, bar 2 that I haven't drawn in yet. These are just really quick things that I'm doing to give myself a break in between doing uni work and art for others. From left to right we have: Blue, the gryffyn above him is Traelavor (or Trevor), below him is Nout, next to him is Sphix, and the drake is Ra'd.

Ermm....thought I'd may aswell throw in some finished stuff that I have on DA too if anyone is interested:

Saga
Astarel

Thats it for now, thank you to anyone who takes a look <3
