Sketches inna bun - inna bun! Two for a dollar, and I'm cutting me own throat!

Sorry, I've been reading too much Discworld lately xD I simply love Cutting-Me-Own-Throat Dibbler.

Well, anyways, it's not my Discworld (or A Song of Ice and Fire) praise you've come to see if you clicked here. I bet it's my sketches!

Yeah, it's mostly sketches I'll post around here. Feel free to comment and critique (though not necessary if you don't want to), I love comments! I'll try to update this regulary. This is mostly my unserious work and WIPs, in case you didn't get it. No, I'm not insulting your intelligence, I'm insulting mine.

*drum roll*

Here we go, the famous sketches!

Come...

Five Horses

Four Faces and a Dragon

Mythical Lion

One Step at the Time WIP

My Cabbage Leaf

Cheyron

Mhm, that's it for now. Enjoy :amused:

You're amazing... =O
Okay, going down the list:

Come: I love the perspective on the hands reaching out. You should work on it a little bit more and give order to the lines in the background and such--it'd look cool completed.
Five horses: Heh, my favorites are the black one and the laughing one.
Four faces and a dragon: What is Discworld? 0_O Interesting characters, wherever they're from. I especially like the droopy-eared dragon.
Mythical Lion: Nice fur, and great face. Perfect anatomy, too.
One Step at a Time: Beautiful face. :amused:
My Cabbage Leaf: XD Very cool design and idea.
Cheyron: Eh, you're good enough at humans.

Thanks^^ I'll go down the list replying, then:

Come: Thanks a lot! I'm refining the background now - I'm thinking of placing some weeping willows around the lake and suchtings. I like the idea of surrounding it with trees and other scary growths, you can see the sketch at the bottom of this post.
Five Horses: Thanks^^
Four Faces and a Dragon: Discworld is the creation of Terry Pratchett, a disc-shaped world carried on the back of four elephants who's standing on the shell of a giant turtle swimming through space, the Great A'Tuin. It's a series parodying the clichés of fantasy in a most hilarous way - you should really check it out  Skazz(the wizard) and Errol (the dragon) are some minor characters I really like x3 Thanks!
Mythical Lion: Thankees^^
One Step at the Time: Again, thanks :3
My Cabbage Leaf: Another thanks :amused:
Cheyron: Aww, you think so? Thankees!

And a final thanks for the watch on dA^^

Lemme see... A quick thought for the new background on 'Come...' The blobby thingies are supposed to be weeping willows and will be get much more work. Do you think the placements are okay?

Weeping willows in a swamp? I'd go more towards vines. If you stick with willows, just make sure that their roots go running in and out of the water and along the ground, because stereotypical swamps have them. XD

He's not in a swamp, he's in a forest lake x3 And the majority of the weeping willows I've seen are standing close to water.

But thanks anyways :amused:

His eye is a bit too round... Eyes are sunken in more usually... Unless you want it like that... It does add to the swamp-like creepiness.

007: Yeah, I want it like that x3 Thanks for pointing out, anyways :amused:

Hum, I have a new sketch! I was experimenting with cel-shading and gradients, but me and the gradients didn't work well together. So I ran to my friend the pen opacity brush... with the result not looking cel-shaded at all xD

Ehehe, comments?

Oh, this is so cool! The shading is awesome, and the anatomy looks perfect. I really like the horns. whenever I draw horns they're lumpy :P

Thanks to both of you^^

Hum, I haven't been here in a while O.o

But I need some help - some redlines, actually. You see, I'm drawing this demon, and I need some serious help on placing the lower half of his hindleg, with foreshortening and such. Legs have never been my strength. And I turn to you, guys, for help and guidance and wisdom... His legs are sorta based on a kangaroo's, if that's any help.

That was 'help' four times in one paragraph. Help?
