Ok, here's my finished piece from the WIP pages...well, almost finished. I'm not sure if there is something missing or not...
I left all the shading flat cell, and used some gradients for his body.

Thanks! I'm total rubbish at backgrounds, so I cheat and do the simple black lines and faded body shot. Eh....it works.
