Salutations guys! It's been a while since I've posted my last tablet drawings, and it's been several months since I got my tablet, and I loves it with all my heart, although the pen is unpleasant sometimes (like now), but who cares, it still draws okay!

THE TIMES:

Phew. We didn't have our mile run today. Now we have a week before doing it, about ten days actually. I hate running, and jogging. Sue me. I like swimming tough. Anywho, about art. The California State Fair deadline's this Friday for the entry form! So, I have one more drawing to do before we can turn it in. We are making frescoes in our class, made out of lime rock and...other stuff. It's an interesting way of making frescoes. First, you come up with the cartoon (sketch), then you take a pin and poke holes in your cartoon where the lines are. After that, you take charcoal powder (or just black powder) and put your drawing on your fresco and sprinkle the powder on over the lines. THen, you'll have your lines to paint over. Plus, our teacher bough natural paint to be as authentic as possible. He's awesome.

I've done a bunch of art, mostly all of it digital from dragons to inky Micky Mouse! I'll be going from the older pieces to the newer ones, and I want to know how my shading a lineart is going, and all critique is appreiciated!

Dragon flying in the sunrise, a request,

Phoenix Request, a reference from Google was used.

This isn't exaclty art, but I just loves my little kitty,

Boring white kitty,

Epic Mickey Fanart, yes, I did use the cover pose and color and stuff, and I give full credit for the design to Diney and the animators of the game, don't sue me, I'm not selling this,

Glowing red cat,

Woof,

Messed up a little bit on the text, I tried a new style of shading on this one, and it turned out okay I guess.

That's all for now, but more willl be here soon!

Your art never ceases to amaze me! And I think last year was quite good as well! I LOVED How to Train Your Dragon! It was so cute! I loved toothless! And my family are probably going to see Megamind sometime this month or next! I can't wait!

Anyway, for critique:
The first picture was very good! I loved the way he was smiling! Although, I think his feet need to be worked on. And I wasn't sure if the things at the bottom were clouds or mountains. :-/ I was leaning toward the clouds, though.
For the second picture, the Phoenix's legs need to be longer and more bird like, I think.
The others are very well done, and the pirate cat was very cute! :-) I think the backrounds are the things you need to work on, but I'm no good at them myself, so I can't help you much on them.

I hope I helped in some way! P. S. Love your art! :amused:

Hydra: In fact you did. Thanks for critz. Yes....I'm not very good at backgrounds, but, I don't enjoy drawing them, it's just for requests, and yes, they are clouds, I had better ones, but GIMP decided to be rude, and it closed on my almost complete drawing, so, had to start over. I'm not very good with clouds, trees, mountains....basically anything that goes in a background.
I'm obliged to hear that you like them! :)

That Mickey Game. You may love it but I hate it. Okami is so much better.

I like your art though. ^-^

I like Okami as well.....especially the length of the game, I wish they made Epic Mickey that long.

The owl thing is super cute! And Bambi is so sad. lol Just a question... is the creature at the bottom your creation or a mix of animals.

That owl is Orville PocketOwl, and his best friend, Piku Tiel.

The creature at the bottom is called a conchin. It is my own species, and no, it is not a mix of things, but is more feline than anything else interpreted, like a rabbit/kangaroo. x3 They are carnivorous, so, they are nothing like kangaroos or rabbits.
