Hello everybody! Very excited to be here; can't wait to start putting my stuff up!
In any case, I have been using dragonart for a while, and once I figure out how to reduce the file size of my drawings, I will start uploading them!

Welcome to the forums, Baeowulf.

If you upload them to a site like photobucket, I think that they will automatically reduce the size of the image to 800 pixels wide or less in addition to providing free hosting that you can hot-link here. :-)

Thanks! Now that I have that out of the way, I can get on with uploading stuff!

First is a paladin of a race of dragon-people that I designed for a DnD game that I run. No name for her yet; suggestions, anyone?

Next is another race that I designed for this campaign; this is a race of yucky roach people called the Cha'Ak'Rai.

The last one for this post is a color concept for a race of wasp people for a game that I am creating called the Vespan. His hair is white because I don't have a black paint pen :P

And, that is it! If anybody has any feedback, please let me know; I would be glad to hear it!

Wow, great designs.

Love the armour on the first one.

Great attention to anatomy and detail.

Thanks. I'm glad you like th armor; it took some research to do, and was one of the few drawings that I, being somewhat lazy, worked very hard on to finish :-P .A question: If you could have me change anything about any of them, what would it be? Don't be nice about it (nor too mean, lol); I would really appreciate some critique on what I need to improve in.

A samurai of the dragon race that I mentioned earlier; I'll get around to doing wings eventually :-' .

Tell me what you all think!

I like that spiky crest on its head, and the fact that it has hair! As well as that shoulder armour bit thing which I'm not sure of the proper name for...! It would be interesting to see one with wings if you do indeed get around to it!

The arms seemed a bit thin to me though, so I did some redlines, if you don't mind!

I just thickened them up a bit and showed how they might connect to the body...! I wish I knew more about humanoid anatomy, but I tried, heh.

I hope that at least helps a bit though!

Firequill:
Thanks!
I'm glad you liked it, and thank you very much for the redlines. This is the first time I have ever tried this pose out before, and I really appreciate the help.

As for knowledge about humanoid anatomy, don't worry about it, your redlines are great. They make sense, they make the arms look better, etc. If you want to learn more, there are a couple books I recommend: DragonArt Fantasy Characters (lol), and Simplified Anatomy for the Comic Book Artist, by Christopher Hart. Both great books; both have seen heavy use by me.

Thanks for the reply, and the best of luck in your own artistic endeavors!

Sincerely,
- Baeowulf

This is a post dedicated to a character from an animation that I'm doing for my animation class.

The first two are pictures of possible advertisements for her. You'll get what I mean when you see the character :-P.

This next one is a picture of her snuggling with R08, the other character from my animation.

Hope you like A1IC3!

Drawing of the main character, Kelsee, from a comic that I'm working on:
http://s1205.photobucket.com/albums/bb4 ... kelsee.jpg

Name: Kelsee Desarez
Age:16
Gender: Female
Race: Drac
Ever since her family was murdered when she was four and she was tortured from ages 4 - 12, Kelsee has not shown any emotion. Recently, she has been showing progress, as she has been observed to show the emotions of anger, distaste, annoyance, and to use sarcasm.

If the protagonist is this messed up, wait till you see the antagonist...
