I know. Nobody likes a link. I agree :geeky: but Im having a bit of trouble regarding my species here. This isnt in detail, just scraps so I didnt try to make your eyes burn :)

1.) The ears are rabbit-like. They look okay, but theres something..off. Is the placement too high?
2.) Those lifeless orbs I call eyes. The design would be to have wolf eyes, however I find it difficult to draw the slanted shape for them.
3.) The fur. Now, If you look at my other lonely picture in me DA scraps, I guess I have a pretty good sense of realism (which is what Im aiming for since this species will go into my *I say this lightly-novel*). But Im not good at filling any body part with the stuff becuase I lack a proper learning on fur direction. I didn't see many tutorials..

If your generous to give me redlines...or find a tutorial, I thank you in advance. But I'd be happy to read blocks of text and feedback as well.

First of all I would like to state that I am neither expert at animals or realism, so I could be getting things wrong.

That said I had a go with some redlines:

Image

Your creature actually made me think of a llama when I first looked at it. XD So I looked up a llama profile for reference.

I don't think the ear is too high, but I did try moving it forward a little bit on the head. Did that help at all?

Also attempted wolf eye, based on the orb you already had.

I made a couple adjustments on the muzzle. I gave the chin a bit more curve at the end, and moved the mouth line down. That way the muzzle isn't evenly split in half.

I also adjusted where the muzzle slopes into the forehead. I think it needed to be moved forward a little bit.

Finally I changed the mandible a bit, buuuut that is the part I am least sure about.

Hope this helps a bit.

o.o I see better changes already. Thank you a bunch (and people say my species does in fact remind them of a llama XD ). Truth is I just put a bunch of animals together and hoped for the best.(edit) i figure that i want the design to be more reptilian so they may change anyway. ive decided to use the skull frame of a utahraptor instead of a mammal one like the picture here.)
