What Photoshop program do you think I should buy? I'm looking to spend fifty dollars and under, if possible. I also need an easy to use program, as well...since I'm used to using Corel Painter. Kaythanks. :)

Uhm, I'm not really aware of that many good programs you can buy for under $50. If you bought a wacom tablet, it should have come with some basic software.

But, yeah, if $50 is all you've got to spend on it, I would suggest paper and pencils. They're more than enough to get started.

I'm actually unsure of how much I have to spend...I always get a minimum of two hundred dollars(from a generous relative) for christmas and my birthday(they're close), and I'm looking to buy a medium bamboo tablet. So that's a little over 150.00. I have like twenty dollars right now..so if I save that till when I'm going to buy the tablet and stuff....-thinks- I also may get some money for my birthday from my parents...so I dunno. I may have somewhere around one hundred to spend on photoshop.

Well, if you a buy a medium bamboo fun, you'll get Photoshop Elements 6.0 and Corel Painter Essentials 4.0 bundling inside. So that should work for you. Photoshop elements is basically a mini-photoshop; it's got fewer tools, but should be enough for the basics. So, your best solution is probably just to use the software that comes bundled with the bamboo fun (though remember, the Bamboo does not come with any bundled software; only the Bamboo Fun does). If you want to upgrade past Photoshop Elements, you'll have to save a bit longer, as a full version of photoshop is about $700 at the moment.

Mod edit: When using colored text, please pick a darker one so it's easy to read.

If you're talking to 4hamsters4, about the website and all, she was talking to me. We know each other in real life and stuff.
