how about a background tutorial?
A background tutorial... would be difficult. Here's why: Though I could show you how I create one, or even several backgrounds, backgrounds are not actually an object so much as a setting, and within that setting could be thousands of different objects, climates, time of day, people, and events. It would be impossible to create one tutorial that says "Hey guys, this is TOTALLY how you do backgrounds, kk?" In essence all I would be doing would be creating a glorified copy-paste, and if you want to copy-paste, you'd be better off using reference that you shot yourself to work form.
Now, I could show you some techniques for creating backgrounds, like "This brush works well for creating faded objects really far in the distance" or "keep in mind atmospheric perspective" or "If you're drawing man-made buildings and objects, you may want to consider measuring them out using vanishing points". ect. But a tutorial that tells you "how to make backgrounds" in general would be an impossibility without thousands of tutorials making it up, and even then, I would have barely covered the tip of the iceburg!
