Hello, I'm new to the forums. I have a few questions about tablets. I've been drawing with pencil and paper for a while, and have decided I want to try out some digital art, but, I'm having issues deciding what tablet to get. I've heard that the bamboo is an excellent tablet for beginners, but I've also found a tablet called the Genius tablet, which sounds like it might work well too, plus it's cheaper. Has anyone here ever used a genius tablet before and, if so, did it work well? Or would I be better off getting the bamboo? I'm not a professional artist, nor do I plan to be one in the future, but I do like art a lot, and would love to expand to some digital art.

I have a trust slimiline tablet, and it was a lot cheaper then most other types. Its a good size and it works extreemly well. I'd highly reccomend this to beginners

I've never heard of genius tablet.. But I do quite recommend the bamboo. I quite love it, it's great for beginners and it's very easy to carry around.

I also reccomend the bamboo. Be sure to get the bamboo fun, because it comes with some really good software.

Sorry it took me forever to reply. I've been battling back and forth between tablet choices. I think I'm probably going to end up going with the Bamboo though. Thanks for all of your suggestions!

Get a Bamboo I had a Genius and it worked for 5 days before the drivers completely died and i wasted 50 dollars on it. I never had any problems with a Bamboo so far

I have had a bamboo since christmas and i absolutely love it :D. It really is the best one i have ever used.

i only have paint and its really hard to figureout.
