I'm looking to buy a combination scanner/printer for all my little arty projects but I'd like to know what you all would consider a reliable brand. One that doesn't leave printer ink lines on the printed drawings/stuff and that scans really well into the computer. My old scanner always turned my pictures a sort of foggy brown color and I could never see the lines cleary...

Any suggestions?

You could try a canon scanner (unless there is a money problem there), i have one and it never fails.

No money problem ^^ If I have to I'll save for it.

Thanks!
But keep the suggestions coming please! I'd like to have a wide range of stuff to look at, but only if you guys would personally back it xD

I got a HP printer and scanner, and they both work great. I scan lots of my stuff, sketches mostly, and it keeps everything nice and clean. And the printer works nicely too, though I rarely print my things, but it's good for photos and such, so drawings shouldn't be a problem.

I've heard good things about Canon too, if you prefer those.

Ok! I'll have to check those out ^^

The only reason I'm really asking about printer quality is because I was given a "photo printer" and it always left lines in my photos and made them look really bad :/ But I think it was an old one so most of them nowadays should be better I'd guess. :D

(and worst that happens is I have to return it xD)

Thank you!!

well its only for like $48.95 is how much i got mine, so its really not that expensive.

And the last HP scanner i had wouldn't scan and stopped printing.

Mine's a kodak printer/scanner combo. The ink refills for it are omega cheap too--and the thing prints like a champion. Never had a problem with the scanning either. I can't remember the exact model, but once I'm back at my downtown studio, I'll post it :]
