Take your tiiiiiiime. Biggest thing with Corel is how different it is from photoshop. Make sure you go into preferences > brush tracking. That's how you set up your tablets sensitivity. But just like photoshop you gotta play with it. It's got an amazing set of brushes with it that work like the real thing. It's way easier to create something in painter that looks like it would with a real medium.
I'm so happy for you
I just got my version in the mail yesterday ^_^
There are loads of tutorials on-line, but if you've still got some casholla I would strongly suggest geting their magazine that they have out... and it shouldn't be too expensive for you if you already life in the UK, that's where it's from! Loads of useful stuff in there...
Have fun yuh? It's uber awesome, I like it so much more than photoshop
EDIT: I found this.. it might help a smidgeon
it's for Painter IX but it's still got a similar workflow, etc.http://www.imaginefx.com/02287754329639 ... torial.pdf
