so sorry but ive hit another bump inthe road with is tablet situation.
ok i suggeted this one

http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Wacom-Bamboo-Pen ... 414c798139

but my dad rang the guy and he said no way. its WAY too small for doing what i want (and i hope some you have seen some of my drawings) to do. so he suggested this

http://www.cartoonprofessor.com/catalog ... 350007.htm

So tell me....which is better
p.s the stuff i draw mainly are dragons, wolfves, anime stuff (working my way up so my people will be better and its working). And the cartoon style isnt what im really into (drawing wise i dont mind it ever now and again but not too much)

so please help and thanks.

Well, it doesn't really matter *what* you draw. More of *how* you draw.

Personally I'd say the small tablet would work perfectly fine for anyone. Beginner, professional, and anything in between. Yes there are better ones with more features, but they're just icing on the cake, a small tablet like the Bamboo has everything you need.

Though I would suggest you get it from wacom.com if you do buy it. It's only 2 dollars more expensive than that one on eBay, and for that price difference I'd say it would be well worth it to buy from the actual merchant.

lawl! The funny thing is.. I had gone over both of those products before to see which is better. They're basically the same, the Bamboo Fun is just 3 inches bigger really. And it costs more because it comes with one more program. I have the Pen touch myself and works just fine as a tablet, the drawing space is just fine, it's I think a little bigger than the first generation Bamboo Fun. The thing is you don't really need the Touch on the Bamboo, so you could just go with the Bamboo Pen which is a smidgen cheaper as well. I love mine. Oh if you have a Best Buy in your area and you're one of the people that can't wait for something to come in the mail, they do carry them, same price as the website. I'd check and see first, though.

well.. depending on what you have around you and your budget there are other tablets you can get at.. walmart.
Genius tablets are rather wonderful, much larger working space for a fraction of the cost, works well on both my mac and dell... and the drawing surface is much bigger. I have the 6x10 one and it's just a doll to work with. Works just as well as my bamboo, and I prefer it to my bamboo... but I didn't much enjoy that tablet...

theres the website... I know you can get them at walmart... this one in canada costs 80$ before taxes.

I dunno... as far as my experience with electronics has gone, you get what you pay for.

Perhaps the Genius tablets don't come with bundled software; but I've never heard anything bad about Wacom tablets, and I've heard some stories of other brands dying within a few weeks.

All in all it's a personal decision, but I've had a non-wacom (aiptek) tablet, and two Wacom tablets; and from my experience the Wacoms are far higher quality.

I suppose... it doesn't come with as much software no... but I never did use any of the stuff I got with my wacom because it's just as easy to use the freeware that's out there.
No there isn't really anything bad about wacom, aside from the price point... mine gets used regularly and it's still good :)

yes very personal.. I hated my bamboo love my genius. However... if you DO get the wacom, I would suggest you take that advice and just buy it form the website. Then you're guaranteed it's in mint condition and has everything with it.

Wacom is a company that makes tablets. The Bamboo is one of the tablets that Wacom makes, along with the Intuos and Cintiq.
