...it's fixing the image after scanning.
Anyone who's been in my ridiculous art thread in Finished Artwork has seen the infamous pink deer. And now it's a grainy puppy.

I managed to get the colors similar enough to the original, but it's still so grainy and I'm thinking it has to do either with the size or resolution of the image, or maybe both. Since I'm mostly a digital artist, I usually don't care if anything is grainy or not since I'm going to go over it digitally anyway, but this is finished and it's got GRAIN all over it.

TL;DR - graininess. How can I fix/prevent? Does it even matter? Is it possible? :-O

Thank you! I thought it turned out rather well, considering I don't do traditional much.

Any suggestions regarding the graininess? That's really why I posted this, to see if I can fix that.

i dont know a fast way with filters and such, but you can always use the blur tool with a low flow %, and you can use the blur tool to follow the lines, but that might be time consuming, wish i could help better
