NDA Art Critique Message Boards

Ok, so most of this is Reeeaaalllyy old...but I'd still like some helpful hints, tips, and redlines as I am still drawing very similar to that and still have zero understanding of human anatomy (though I'm getting a human body tutorial/guide sent to me in a few days so I'll be catching up on that soon enough.)

I plan on digitally inking and painting most of these sometime in the future (when I get photoshop sometime in the next couple weeks I'll probably start working on them)

Most of these are relatively large, so I'm just gonna post the links here, with the occasional picture. And don't worry..they're all kiddy friendly. xD

So anywho, here they be, in no particular order.

Idea I had for a character's throne/chair in an old webcomic idea. It's supposed to be a sort of melty organic-type material. The scribbles on either side are to suggest some sort of foliage...?

A predator that lives in the woods of the aforementioned webcomic idea... I know this sounds kind of silly, but please don't steal him. :( I like him a lot and as far as I know he is an original concept on my part. xD

Nuther dragon portrait...waaay unfinished. I like it and want to finish it, but I'm stuck on the wings...they're supposed to be feathery, but I'm not so good at feathers.

Everyone tells me it looks like she's throwing up...does it really? This, BTW, is my old dragon Eclipse. The only thing I could ever draw more than once that looked the same. :P

My newest dragon. Entire body in profile. He's really confusing right now, but once I get the chance to color him in he'll make much more sense :P I also have an 'action pose' of him, but the camera kept blurring that picture really bad so it'll have to wait for a scanner. :(

Thanks! I wish I could've been able to show these at better quality but I don't have a scanner yet :( Soon enough. Then I'll most likely scan all these over and re-post them so y'all can see em better xD

Well, I've got a tablet on the way, so I should be able to start quite soon with that...along with a book of people anatomy...simplified xD

Fox Dog sketch. Decided I'd attempt a sketch with my new tablet, just to see how it worked...I like it! xD Probably because of the freedom I have with it. I don't need to worry about making a mistake with it...if I do just ctrl+z and it goes away! lol
