I've not been able to do any work for the past 2 weeks due to not having a computer with a tablet or PS.
But yeah, I'm back at uni nows, and so I've started work on my Xchange.

I feel a lot more comfortable with this idea, though I'm stumped about the background.

Any ideas would be muchly welcomed, as would red lines, paint overs, etc. <3

First off, great linework. I don't know if its your foreshortening or proportion messing me over, but it looks like his legs are tiny. Are they supposed to be tiny

Thanks Nihilist ^^ I've made the legs a bit bigger (in the ref the dragon species doesn't seem to have very long legs). Hope they look ok now?

Please excuse the awful scribbly mass of awfulness at the moment- this just me trying to work out the background. I think it works okayish...I'll start tidying it up if no one has any thoughts on it.

The background looks great so far, as does the positioning of the dragon's figure on that ground, but something bothers me about his head and neck.
His wings are out wide and his legs tucked in - he's obviously flying. However, instead of holding his head straight out for better aerodynamics, he's got it all perked up, as though he was perching or standing somewhere on the ground.

Thanks Oreramar ^^ I totally understood what you mean about the neck, so I've lowered it. Hopefully it looks a bit better now?

I'm really not doing well with this :S I have no idea what I'm doing. It just looks completly awful to me, though I'm not going to give up.
A friend suggested to put the dragon onto the bg properlly, and I agree with her. So no box now.

the reason it looks weird is because the dragon is flat and unshaded and the background is colourful - they look like separate images. Throw some shading and colour into the drag and it'll blend right in ;)

Thanks for the comment Biddlyboobaa ^^ I haven't even touched the dragon yet because I want to get the bg done and out of the way first. Trying to get what I dislike the most done first :3 The dragon will be completly shaded and lineless at the end like the background :3

Finished the bg, (I don't know what else to do), cropped it and played around with the position and angle of the dragon.



Working on the dragon now, suprisingly having a lot of fun with it XD

Any suggestions or comments?
