Hokay, so, in this thread I'll be putting all my art that is of.... questionable quality.

This will be like a kind of giant, universal sketchbook thread. Full of studies, random sketches, crappy doodles, and un-finalized designs for my campaign and stuff. Pretty much, if I do something that doesn't deserve its own thread, it'll go here. 8D

So, to kick things off, here's a crappy little doodle I did of a dryad / centaur lady type thing. I fail so hard at animal anatomy, but it has pretty texture overlays. xD

Image

Dryad / centaur lady type things will probably be in my campaign, however there is like.... absolutely nothing original about this design, so it's not what they will look like when I'm done with them. xD

Critique welcome, though I'm not gonna be changing anything on this one. 8D

The face doesn't look very feminine.

Another doodle of the dryad species. I'm on a rampage!

Image

I think this one was way better anatomy and design, but fewer delicious texture overlays.

Oh well. 8D

Having fun designing races though; so I might be doing it for a while. xD

Wow, this looks great, I love your lines.

But one thing that looks rather strange is the breasts. Wouldn't they be facing a bit more away from us at that angle? But, other than that everything looks perfect to me.

Is that a smiley on her leg? 8D

Thanks, DD! :D

And, yeah, the boobs are probably totally wrong; I'm like so bad at drawing them. Who woulda thunk two spheres could be so hard to get looking right. And actually that was supposed to be a moon shape; but it does kinda look like a smiley, lol. xD

Aaaand, another! (I'm on a roll!!!)

Large Image

I seem to be on some sort of race design rampage. But I realllly like how these two turned out, so I might ink and color them. 8D

Very coolio.... I like the hair (feathers?), and on the first one, the trailing vines are awesome.

I can't really find anything to crit that hasn't already been crited *turns head at 180 angle* Mmmm.... 'Cept the tail on the second centaur woman. Is it supposed to be short? Or is it just not done? If it's either of those forget what I said. :-'

'Nudda one!

Was just watching some tutorial videos this guy was doing in graphite and got super inspired. So I picked up my pencil and did a quickie-doodle portrait! 8D

Well.... more of a doodle.... not really that quick. I'm trying to discipline myself to be patient while arting, so I tried my best to not make any large scribbly strokes, but to keep everything light and smooth and gradually build up value... which I did pretty well, on the facial features. The cheek kinda sucks. xD

Oooh, very nice! The only thing I can see that is a bit off is that the lips seem bigger than normal. But other than that it looks great!

Wow, all of your art looks great! =D The face portrait is really good, too. I'm trying to learn how to do realism, but it is quite tricky. Those noses always get me! ><

Thanks, gaiz! 8D

Here's a little speedpaint I did today:

It's not that great, but worth posting methinks.
