NDA Art Critique Message Boards

Wikipedia says that draft horses can weigh from about 1500 to 2200 lbs. That's where I got the idea. XD So I figure that if his human part is half a human, then maybe it would be about 100-150 lbs (since legs wouldn't weigh as much as the rest of the body, right?), and so I'm just trying to figure out his horse part... It would be a lot, but of course the horse head would be missing so we would subtract that and add on the human body instead...

Also, VOTE AGAIN because I made a sketch dump full of overlooked characters I never really do finished pics of! The dump includes:
Torin, Nore, Cael (!!), Silvermane, Wildblood, Histlan, Faustulus, Dom, and a guy without a name (with the fire magic!). I think that about covers it. Some of the pictures are in color, too! Hey!

EDIT: oh, and there's a random satyr head I forgot to mention. A whitetail buck, we can assume, but not Torin...

Well, I'll leave you to do the math on Sil. Finish the ref in your own time. You want it to look nice, so don't rush.

The sketch dump looks nice. I like the picture on the bottom with some character spooking another (Faustulus?) with a little skull. ^^

Yup, that's Histlan (vampire assassin/necromancer/creep) clacking a little skull right in front of Faustulus. Who hates it. And hates the idea of undead. XD MATCH MADE IN HEAVEN, I TELLS YOU.

I'm thinking I need to upload MOAR. Or maybe stop making people vote for everything before they can look at it. XD I don't get a lot of feedback. Except from you, Stardust! You're nice. You make comments on everything. And it is nice.

But still, more art from me wouldn't hurt. I have lots of sketches, but those would belong in a different forum... So should a sketch dump really go here? Nnnngh.

Also, the ref is done, but I'm waiting until May to upload it and put it up as a vote incentive. XD

I'm glad you appreciate my comments! I really enjoy your art, as well as discussing it with you. I'm sorry it's been almost a week and a half since I last commented. I just finished the Spring production at my school. It was fun, but so tiring, with late rehearsals this whole week! XD

I'll keep an eye out for your reference sheet!

By the way, the plot's thickening in your comic. I can't wait to meet Wildblood! ^^ Ooooohhh! She's angry, and this might not be a pleasant visit. That's what I'm thinking anyways. ^^

Wildblood won't be too bad at first, but once they actually get into a conversation about what's going on she's probably going to rant quite a bit.

Yeah, you've probably noticed that Sil is almost semi-constantly tense. XD But he does take a break sometimes. That militia has to give their guards some time to relax!

LOL yeah maybe some clothes wouldn't hurt. But I put so much work into that hair! Faustulus isn't too much more buff than any other Northerner male would be, but most Northerners are so fat that you can't really tell. XD Which is why Faustulus's muscley-ness tends to startle 'most everyone.

And I put work into the body hair, if nothing else (like the background!) I should draw chest/arm hair more often. Maybe in the comic?
