Someone asked me to explain how I speed paint on another forum and I figured that I could share my technique in this forum as well

soooooo first of all look at this:

Now you get, I'm going to try to explain how I proceed.
First of all, for this painting, I have used, adobe photoshop and a graphic tablet, you don't have to have a very expensive or large tablet, A6 is enough ;)
About the picture naow :D
1. I think that for speedpaintings, painting entirly in grey is easier. Then on a layer I paint, using darker grey for shadows and lighter for highlight. I use a custom brush to whom opacity change with pen pressure.
2. On a new layer, multiply mode, I add the colors.
3. I'm adding some highlights (ligter grey)
4. I think that it's a bit flat for the moment, I'm adding more shadows with darker grey.
5. And finally some final highlights.
Well, I hope that my english is not that crappy and that you've understood what I meant ^^' plus it's not THE way of doing digital painting, there exist plenty of them. It's just the way that I've used, hope it's helpfull anyway ;)
