NDA Art Critique Message Boards

I'm just curious about what the reception has been for the new dA version 7 . Personally, I think it's a major downgrade, but I want to know what you all think!

I've just set up an acount and it was like that, so my judgment dosn't matter.

I don't hate it per-say, but there are two things that really REALLY irritate me:

1) The search bar not being at the top of every page - only on the main page

2) Messages & Deviations being lumped into one category, so that you can't just quickly pop on to DA to see if you have a comment / note / etc.

Plus I have no idea where the help / forum / etc topics are that used to be in the top right hand corner.
Oh, and the fact that deviations always take a while to load from fuzziness now, no matter the size.

I like it except for one problem. The art work is always blurry no matter the size. Everytime I look at someones artwork its always blurry. Pretty much what Goredguar said.

I don't quite understand what you mean by the search bar, though. I can see it at the top of every page.

I'm getting used to it. I suppose Idon't know what easier is.

It confused me for a while, and I still haven't tried to submit anything (I'd need to have drawn more for that), but I think it's neither a major step forwards or backwards. The browsing arrows obscuring longer artist's comments is annoying, but viewing pictures at a larger size is always a plus.

I like it but it's annoying that you can't see directly on the front page if you've got any new messeges or the like and that the search bar isn't visible on every page only a few. Other than that I like it, though I haven't tried submitting anything since they upgraded DA.

Blurry? Really, I don't see the problem. It always clears up after a few seconds. Yay! I'm happy I didn't have to use numbers in my name. My account name is Loryska.
