Okay, where to begin. Well, I admit, I have posted a few times on here before, but deleted a couple of times, mainly because I was never exactly happy with the style I had. After a while, I tried a bit of a new style, and now, I feel more confident with this picture than the previous one. However, I'm sure there's numerous flaws with this picture. I would love to have some criticism with this piece. Red-Lining is allowed as well. Anything to help.

This picture was drawn with .5mm mechanical pencil blue and black lead. I changed the picture's coloring a bit so it'll be easier on the eyes. This is a rough sketch, by the way. Once most, if not all the problems have been found, I'm going to trace it via Light Box to make it better.

(Yes, I know, wacky hairstyle. I'm planning to make various hairstyles later on...XD)

EDIT: Is it me, or is the boot facing sideways is a bit...lopsided or something. If it is, I'll fix that.

I need to try and be more productive, but lately, I've been losing inspiration and motivation. Well, hopefully more will come.

Yes, the boot is at a slant. But great job! I would have given you redlines if I had a tablet. :crying: I don't have one...

One more thing, Is he supose to be able to fly? Because if so, I think you should make his wings a bit bigger. And his tail is a bit thick to me. You don't have to change it if he's supose to have these.

Your not bad at drawing. Some things you can draw better than me. Keep up the good work.

Here's a redline I did of the boots. If you draw a straight line below the boot on our left, you'll see it was at a slant.

The folds on both the shirt and pants seem a bit random to me. When you're drawing clothing you have to keep in mind what the cloth itself is doing. Clothing will contract and stretch as the body moves; it will also fall and drape in certain areas due to gravity. Here's a two-part tutorial I found on clothing:

Your fursona has a really cool design. I'd like to see more of him.

Yeah, he's supposed to be capable of flight (even though he doesn't do it too often). XP
The thick tail was a bit of an accident on my end. I wanted to make it thick, but I see where I might've added a bit more than usual. Thanks for the help!

Thanks for the Red-Lining! Clothes aren't exactly my specialty, so the folds and what not tend to be a bit...random on my character. I usually try to make them look really baggy, but I see what you mean. As for the shoes, well, the thing is, I try to make them look a bit big since he is an anthropomorphic Dragon, and his feet would be bigger than a human's feet. I guess they wouldn't be that bigger though. Yeah, your way seems better. Thanks!

I'll try to fix up these problems as soon as possible! ^^
