Yes, I agree with Sang. Though make sure you remember to keep the muscles lean. A strong dragon probably wont have bulging muscles, but a defined, sturdy body structure.
Just wanted to point that out :)

:) Ok!

Here's the finished piece! I really like how the highlighting and shadows came out.

This is going to be a dragon anthro. Help on it would be nice. Or if you can find a ref for it (I can't :-/ ) please link it.

You could use this posemaniacs pose for reference (you can spin it around too):

Here it is flipped for you:

Ok, I haven't had much time on the computer lately, so I haven't gotten to look at the pose that grandioze gave me. But I have made a few changes to the picture. So here it is.

Also, I drew this while waiting for my sisters and brother to finish their art class (which to me is more of a 1st grader's thing). I'll be working on this too.

C&C are welcome on any of the pictures, and will be appreciated.

I redlined the four-legged dragon for you.

Major points:
-His body is a bit short, so I extended it
-His head is a bit too small for his body; I recommend making it larger
-When drawing something that's standing on a flat surface (like this dragon), it's good if you use a ruler to make sure that its feet are level. If you don't have a ruler, you can always use a book or something else with a flat edge.
-I really don't think it looks good to have both of his legs perfectly lined up like that. It's a little bit more interesting if you have the farther leg be in front of or behind the other leg. See how I've changed the placement of the two back legs.
-The wings should be held flat to the side.
-To clarify: the lower line on his chest is where the fur would end.

My redline is quick, so there may be more that I missed.

Yeah, I saw the legs are uneven, :-/ I'll have to change that... The head, on the other hand, I think looks fine. And I really like how it came out so I'm not going to change that much, if not at all. I think I'll change the leg postitioning and the wings though.

Thanks for the redlines! :amused:

I agree with Grandioze, however, Hydra, a small input... the head can stay the same, what Grand was pointing out about it, is that your neck is not right. It thins out at the head and gets REALLY thick at the bottom. That's an anatomy issue, near the base of the head it should be thicker, then thin a bit near the chest. The head is fine, it's just the neck that is having issues ^^

Another update! :yahoo: I gave the anthro clothes (the cloth is leather and some chain-mail below it). Help on him would be nice. Oh, and I also gave him his markings.

The neck, one this one, I thickened, and leveled his feet out. If you see anything else that should be changed please say so now, because I am not going to add a backround to it (I can't think of any!).

Oh, and HURRAY because my sister is coming for a few days, but I'm not sure how much I will be on. So I might not see any replies until Sunday or Monday.
