Hello. I'm back!
Anyway, I have two new pieces that I'm working on.
To begin, here is Balzaar the royal desert dragon (his species is called "Royal Desert Dragon", however he was also part of the royal family). He was primarily an alchemist, although one would say that his first and formost 'job' is hoarding and business (he simply adores precious and rare objects). His life was pretty good until his older brother died, as he then became betrothed to some random person from a far kingdom. Despising his position because he despised marriage (as it would mean no more alchemy, no more science, and no more hoarding 'restricted' precious objects), he planned and committed a rather horrible crime to make him 'unfit' to marry. However, he grossly underestimated the effect of this event - instead of simply being shunned (or, worse case, banished), he was treated with the full traitor makeover.
His 'crown' (which gives his species the name), which is the love and pride of any royal desert dragon, is usually blue and black - the colour sacred to their sky gods (black attracts heat and is also the colour of the night sky, and blue is the colour of the day sky). It was dyed red and white. This symbolizes many things - white is the colour that repels the sky gods, which meant that he was forever lost to them (as white does not attract heat). Red is the colour commonly associated with death and evil, wich marks him as one who killed his peers. The combination also marked him as an exile (white can also occasionally mean 'traveller', or more commonly 'lost', and red means murderer) from his home kingdom. If he is ever seem there, other dragons have full permission to kill him.
Anyone who dares to dye his crown back to black and blue will be murdered, along with Balzaar himself. Anyone who dares mate with him will share the same fate.
Other consequences to his crime include: the white stripes tattooed along his snout and back, the large red jewel attached to his throat, and the removal from the royal family.
Balzaar himself is actually pretty satisfied with his life right now. He lives in the high mountains, located on the other side of the continent, with his impressive hoard of gold, jewels, books, swords, and random trinkets. He does business to both humans and dragons. It usually consists of lending money, but can also vary from giving a rare trinket in return for something even more valuable, etc. He rarely goes out, preferring to do alchemy or read in his spare time.
People who go to him have a saying - a happy Balzaar is a good Balzaar. If he is happy, you are safe. If he is showing even the slightest bit of disappointment, you better be very careful. If you failed to do your part of your business, you better start begging. He isn't kind to people who cheat him. You'll either be dead meat, or have to give something very precious (most of the time it's something that is personally precious to make them pay) to survive.
People have tried to kill Balzaar - however, the long treacherous climb makes it very hard for large parties to go up. Either they'll die by a lack of food or water, from the cold, avalances, or from Balzaar himself (who will occasionally take a quick flight around to make sure that nothing is amiss). There is only one known entrance or exit to his cave.
He is also notoriously hard to kill, for unkown reasons.
Anyway, there is his bio. Here is the picture.
I'm not too sure about his hindquarter's proportions, so any help on that is appreciated!
