I am taking a storyboarding class in college, and its more of a concept development class. so he likes to give these weird assignments like combine a gorilla, zombie and robot. fun stuff

so he has me doing this combination exercise and i broke down and bought a digital tablet because i want to do a good job (and ive been wanting one anyway).

so here is my assignment: a dolphin, fairy, unicorn.


its still a work in progress, so any tips would be nice.

What about the head and tail of a dolphin, the body and the horn of the unicorn and the wings of a fairy with sparkles XD?

I like it! Maybe give it some horse legs?

Since when a narval has horses legs and fairy wings?

That's ADORABLE. Hmmm maybe give it some wings though, it should be a fairy-combination as well as a narwhal ;D But I like the anatomy, for an odd creature it works well. You should give it some stubby fin leg things as well, since that would pull the rest of the body out of dolphin/narwhal-dom.
