Hey all! Newbie here. I go by Zooie - a knickname my sister gave me years ago that I still answer to, lol.
Dragons are my favorite animal and a number of years ago I decided that I wanted to do a colored pencil drawing with a dragon perched on top of a guitar. I got much of the guitar sketched out and a vague sketching of the dragon. I began to draw a small corner of the picture, but could never get the dragon to look right, so it ended up getting placed on the back burner. And it stayed there. Until I found NeonDragon's books.
The biggest obstacle of the drawing is that what is already drawn is permanent, which caused me a bit of grief trying to get the dragon positioned properly. I finally found one I could live with. This is my first dragon drawing (yeah, I know) and I want it to look right. That's where I would love you to come in!
I would appreciate any honest and helpful critique you can give to help me get this right. Easy, tough, red lined, written - it's all good stuff. I have included a picture of the sketch (which is still very much a sketch) along with the piece of colored pencil work I have already started so you can get an idea of which areas are completely permanent.
