NDA Art Critique Message Boards

Alright here's one I did just a little while back, he was actually the first one I started when I got my new tablet, and 3 months later I finally finished him.... Wow I really need to learn to work faster. I would really appreciate some critique, I could really use it! Don't be afraid to just hit me with it.

Here is one suggestion: by the looks of the picture it seems the light source is coming from the bright orb. Your lighting suggests that there are multiple other light sources, but they do not correspond to the rest of the picture.

For example: see those horns? They seem to be lit from the back, but not the front, where the visible light source is affecting the rest of the picture. Try and know where your source is first, and then follow along with it. :3

This may be just me, but the base of the tail looked as if it was thicker than the body, and that struck me as odd. If I just missed something, then disregard this post.
