On May 9th i get to participate in the 2009 California State Junior High Spelling Bee, i am and 8th grader competing against 7-9graders ive been to this one last year and to the 4-6 grade bee in the sixth grade, it will be scary, but my friend A 7th grader from my school also got in, so even though we have a little rivalry now, we at least have someone we know to go with.

Okay guys this spelling bee everyone wrote down the same words and once you missed four you were out. out of 51 of the best 7-9th grade spellers in california, i got......4th place

Congrats! I can't spell worth anything (I'd die if I didn't have spell check on Word) so I think that's amazing!
