Hunger Games,
Best book ever
It's a little heavy with the violence but it has a good message

Recently, I read Naomi Novik's "His Majesty's Dragon." I liked it, but some people might find it generic or boring. Plenty of cool moments, though, and the dragon, as usual, is awesome. ^^ Not that I'm biased or anything... Still working on getting the sequal(s). In general, imagine early 19th century, Napolean trying to take over, and add dragons. :amused: Oh, and the main character is a British Navy Captain, so France is the bad guys.

what about Firebirds, Firebirds Rising, and Firebirds Soaring? they are all edited by Sharyn November, a 2 time world something-or-other winner. They are collections of short stories (fantasy/sci-fi) , and I enjoyed every one :amused:

Since it seems people have mostly been listing books or series I'm gonna list some authors that you should read books by because it will give you more books. :-)

Piers Anthony (People know him for many of his series)
J.R.R. Tolken (Known for Lord of the Rings)
Issac Asmov (He writes amazing science fiction books)
T.A. Barron (Interesting books with cool plots)

Ok, these people may be known for only one or two of their books but you should read them all!!!! :pacman:

On that note, I read a book recently by Piers Anthony and Mercedes Lackey that was really good. It was "If I Pay Thee Not In Gold" so even if the books are a joint effort like this you should read them! :)

I will probably think of more later, I was just thinking of good authors right now, so you can have more books to read. I understand how you feel with the reading tons of books and not having any to read. :why: I sadly haven't read in a while due to having catch up with school work and my habit to not stop reading once I pick up a book. I'm likey to sit around reading in all my classes and not take notes or something. I also will go home and read all day. So yah, I kinda stopped. :-m I need finish to a series I'm halfway through when I have time... D:
